This shield is honorin the special times of the day, dawn and dusk. I selected to use two horses to represent those times of day. This mandala/shield  is made from leather wrapped  over a ring . It has all  hand cut fringe and the  image is hand painted . It is embellished with horse tail and pony beads and a beautiful  turkey feather.  It is signed. It measures  8 " wide and about 29" in length including the fringe.  There is a loop of beads on the back for hanging.
